It's too bad Carbondale's kids weren't playing Chambana's crew tonight.
Illinois scored 33 points in its loss against Penn State ... which only scored 38 points.
SIU scored 34 points ... in the second half of its loss to Indiana State
Anthony Booker and Ryan Hare combined to score 34 points.
That means the two Saluki freshmen could have done the damage in the first half, taken the second half off and still would have beaten U of I by one stinkin' point.
Sorry to take away from DePaul's pity party, but it's a sad day for basketball in the state of Illinois.
