Just Wondering About That Whole Pennant Race Thing

I only read David Kaplan's crap blog when I need some comic relief in my life.  This blog was no exception:

"[A]fter seeing Colorado struggle last weekend [Cubs GM Jim] Hendry decided to go all in and try to make the playoffs rather than dealing one of his best arms."

If that's the reason Hendry declined to trade Rich Harden to the Twins, I kind of wish Hendry would have decided to go "all in" earlier.  I'm still waiting for the left-handed power-hitting, run-producing right fielder, a second baseman that is taller than your average circus midget and a closer who doesn't lead the league in walk-off losses.
