The Weekender: Ho! Ho! Ho! & A Bottle Of Rum Edition

It's the eve of Christmas Eve and you good people out there reading this need to go get your shopping done. For some of you, it means you have to get it started.

Sexy Santas after the jump.

Besides, what's another few minutes of procrastination going to cost you?

As for us, we'll be in and out of it throughout the weekend.  Work will have our hands tied from Saturday on through the new year, so when you see things like "Remembering the 2000s" and "Sports Figure of the Year" in the upcoming week do not forget why.

We always appreciate what you the reader bring to this site.  Especially during the Halladay Holliday holiday season.

Oh, we've got something else coming next week.  We'll have an open thread for suggestions on how we can make the site better for 2010.  As a staff, we'll take suggestions in the comments and in our e-mail inbox.  You can also attempt to contact the editor via his e-mail.

As for the Sexy Santas ... your welcome!

The Links:
  • Marriage fail? Blame it on the alcohol Facebook. Update your status accordingly. [1]
  • I guess this would be a fitting second link. (via @MarcJL) Facebook exposes lil' sister's ho-ish activities. [2]
  • For the sports fan on your shopping list, a video game guide of the bests and worsts of 2009. [4]
  • We didn't make the list of best American sports writing pieces, but we didn't deserve it compared to the folks who made this list. Great reads. [5]
  • For the hip-hop fan on your list, Santa might think of picking up this cool t-shirt. [6]
  • A really well written, descriptive feature on former Tar Heels head coach Matt Doherty coming to peace with his alma mater. [7]
  • Here is a heart-felt message to all the graduates of the class of '09. [8]
  • Sex Education ... the way it should be taught. [9]
  • And finally, a site fit for the holidays (via Hire Jim Essian) ... Sketchy Santas. [10]
  • Milton Bradley (via @bigleaguestew) wishes the Cubs and their fans the best. [Bonus!]
